Uses for acid water
- MOUTHCARE: A general rule of thumb is that acid water is used outside the body but it can be used as a mouth wash, as a gargle to soothe sore throats or for brushing teeth.
- STERILISATION: 2.5pH acid water is a powerful disinfectant / sanitizer. Hospitals in Japan use acid water to clean surfaces and equipment. (The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency laboratory tested the efficacy of 2.7 acid water. The test demonstrated a reduction greater than 99.999% in E-Coli, Staph, Salmonella and MRSA).
- HOME CLEANING: It is a great disinfectant for use in the home on worktops and household surfaces. (advice: use instead of bleach products).
- ANTISEPTIC: Use it on the skin to treat wounds as an antiseptic, treating rashes, athlete’s foot, and fungal infections.
- SKIN PROBLEMS: 3.5 pH water is excellent for skin conditions / problems with e.g. eczema and psoriasis.
- DAILY SKIN CARE: 5pH acid water has astringent properties and is great for cleaning and toning the skin without the use of chemicals.
- PLANT CARE: Water plants with acidic water to promote growth, keep away unwanted bugs, reduce fungus and extend the life of cut flowers.
